They want 5 bucks for a cup of coffee, and another 6 to connect? No way!
For at least the last year, the trend by companies such as Starbucks, Barnes & Noble and FedEx Kinko's as well as many hotel chains was to offer Internet "hotspots" for a fee ranging from $4 to $10 a day. "Have a Wi-Fi laptop? You can access the Internet in seconds" — after you fork over your credit card payment, register and sign in.
This site is to promote local businesses first and only those businesses offering wireless internet without strings, especially without payment.
