Looking for the absolute best coffee shop in Ann Arbor? It's a trick question. The best place to go isn't in Ann Arbor, it about 2 miles west of Zeeb on Dexter Rd. (next to Country Market) [

If we had a rating system, they would score 10s across the board. Even the French judges would give this place a standing ovation.
- Coffee: excellent.
- People who serve you: genuinely friendly
- Wireless signal: strong
- Sound system: incredible
- Tune selection: awesome (no morning talk shows!)
- Overall ambiance: Warm and inviting
- Food/menu: Excellent, lots of depth
- Fax in lunch orders: Heck yes!
Foggy Bottom has done their Feng Shui homework. While it looks small from the outside, it really is beautifully designed making it a place you'll want to frequent with your laptop.

They have a new WiFi connection, kinda pokey: 817K down, 117K up. Still, this place is one of our faves because of the music, people and quality java. |
